How to require a phone number when making bookings

Learn how to prevent a booking being made without a client phone number.

When making a booking from the appointment calendar, you are asked for the client information, what the client is booking and some optional extras.

When making bookings, you may want to prevent yourself or your staff from making bookings without a client phone number.

To enable this, click on 'Settings' and then on 'General Settings':

Enable the switch that is labelled 'Force Phone Number for Bookings' and click 'Save':

Note: If this is enabled, bookings will not be able to be booked unless a phone number is input for the client appointment. SalonBridge will not verify the existence of the mobile number, only ensure that a phone number is captured.
