What is Zapier?

Zapier is an online automation tool that connects your apps and services. You can connect two or more apps to automate repetitive tasks without coding or relying on developers to build the integration.

Zapier lets you connect SalonBridge to 3000+ other web services. Automated connections called Zaps, set up in minutes with no coding, can automate your day-to-day tasks and build workflows between apps that otherwise wouldn't be possible.

Each Zap has one app as the Trigger, where your information comes from and which causes one or more Actions in other apps, where your data gets sent automatically.

The Zapier and SalonBridge integration currently provide 'Trigger' and an 'Action' integrations. This means that when an action is performed inside SalonBridge, you can trigger events from the data in other apps. Similarly, you can set up a 'Zap' so that when an action is performed in another app, it sends data to SalonBridge.

Example 1: When a booking is made in SalonBridge, you can tell Zapier to automatically create an appointment in Google Calendar, or when a payment is made to send the payment information to Xero Accounting.

Example 2: When a contact is added to your CRM, you can tell Zapier to automatically create a new client in SalonBridge.

SalonBridge currently has the following Zapier Triggers:

  • New Appointment: Triggers when an appointment is made in SalonBridge (in house, or online).

  • New Payment: Triggered when a payment is logged (in house or online).

  • New Void: Triggered when a void (refund) is captured in SalonBridge.

  • New Client: Triggered when a new client is added.

  • Update Client: Triggered when a clients information is updated.

  • New Retail Sale: Triggered when a new retail sale is made (in house or online).

  • New Close-Out: Triggered when a new closeout is created.

  • New Gift Card: Triggered when a new gift card is issued (in house or online).

SalonBridge currently has the following Zapier Actions:

  • Create Client: Allows Zapier to add a new client to your Salonbridge account.

Each of the above triggers sends Zapier key information that can be used to send to your other apps. This lets SalonBridge talk to your other apps seamlessly and automatically.
