In our latest app release (version 3.3.1), we have released the following new features:

Minor bug fixes and speed improvements:

Android users may notice better image quality and faster response times on the app. iOS users may notice improved load times and transitions between screens.

The ability to manually add clients:

While clients were synchronised between the console and app, you can now manually add clients from the 'Clients' section if you wish. Appointments and retail sales created for new clients will still create the client as before.

Client details are hidden for staff that have this access disabled:

From the SalonBridge console, you have the ability to hide client contact details for specific staff. If this is enabled, the staff member using the app will not be able to see the mobile number or email address of clients when viewing the appointment details, or the client profile.

Improved menu when clicking on the '+' button on the calendar

The calendar had a 'Floating Action Button' previously. This was not always visible when overlayed on the calendar. When tapping on the '+' button, you are now presented with a menu that appears from the bottom of the screen.

The ability to add, edit, or delete retail stock:

Administrators and Branch Managers can now add, edit or delete retail stock from the app. This is done by navigating to 'More->My Business->Retail'.

The ability to perform a stock take and a stock order for retail stock:

One can now perform a stock take, or load a new stock order from the app by navigating to 'More->My Business->Retail' and taping on the menu at the top right of the screen.

Payment methods now align with the web console:

The web console allows you to add, edit, or remove payment methods. These now pull through to the app so that the same payment methods you see in the console are visible when adding a payment from the app.

The ability to pay with a gift card or loyalty points:

When adding a payment, one can now pay with a gift card or a client's loyalty points balance from the app. If these payment methods are added from the console, you will be shown the client's loyalty balance when selecting 'Loyalty' as a payment method or will be asked for the gift card code when choosing 'Gift Card' as the payment method.
