Online bookings allow your clients to book with you 24/7 and ensuring that they are correctly configured will ensure that you do not get incorrect bookings, or bookings on days or times where you don't operate.

Step 1: Ensure that your services are configured correctly.

You can change the order of your services by dragging them into place and you can hide specific services from being bookable online by disabling the 'Show Online' option for each service.

Step 2: Ensure that your business days and hours are correctly configured.

When a client attempts to make an online booking, SalonBridge will allow them to choose a day to find an available booking slot. The days that are visible here are configured from the 'Hours & Scheduling' section of SalonBridge:

Step 3: Ensure that your staff's online booking hours are correct.

When a customer chooses a staff member, SalonBridge fetches their available booking slots based on their online booking hours configured under their profile in the 'Staff' section in SalonBridge.

Step 4: Ensure that services are correctly allocated to staff.

You have the ability to specify which staff can perform which services. This ensures that when a client books a service and chooses a staff member, they only book with a staff member who can perform the service. You can do this by allocating services under each staff profile:

Step 5: Ensure that your online bookings page and settings are correct.

You can edit the look of your online bookings page and you can configure some online-specific options such as:

  • Whether clients can book for the same day, or can only book as soon as tomorrow or 2 days in advance.

  • The default time slot gaps that a client can choose.

  • How soon in advance a client can edit or cancel their appointment (if you share a cancellation or edit appointment link with them).

  • The number of services a client can book in one online booking.

  • Whether you want to charge a deposit when a client books online (if you have an online payment gateway enabled).

These options (and others) are configured in the 'My Business->Online Bookings' section of SalonBridge.
