SalonBridge allows you to set default discount rates for your clients, so that when they book an appointment or purchase a product, the default is automatically applied to their bill. This is useful for students, pensioners, or VIP clients and doesn't require your staff to remember who gets a discount.
From the clients section, click on the client in question:
Scroll to the fields labelled 'Service Discount %' and 'Retail Discount %'. You can either type in the discount percentage or use the percentage selector to choose a percentage. Once you have input the percentage, click on 'Save'.
Once saved, any future booked appointments or retail sales will automatically populate the discount amount based on the percentage specified for the client.
Note: The ability to change this percentage is only possible if you have the 'Clients->Can edit client default discounts' permission enabled on your login profile.
