When 2FA is enabled, you will be asked to enter a one-time PIN (OTP) sent to your mobile number whenever you sign in. This helps protect your account even if someone else obtains your password.
Before You Start
Make sure that the mobile number saved on your SalonBridge profile is correct and that you have access to that mobile phone. Your 2FA verification codes will be sent to this number.
Enabling Two-Factor Authentication
Sign in to SalonBridge.
Click Settings.
Select Login Details.
Check that your mobile number is correct. This is the number that will receive your 2FA verification codes.
Toggle on the SMS verification switch.
Enter your existing SalonBridge password.
Click Send Verification Code.
SalonBridge will send a one-time PIN (OTP) to your mobile number.
Enter the verification code when prompted.
Once the code has been successfully confirmed, Two-Factor Authentication will be enabled on your account.
Signing In with 2FA
Once 2FA has been enabled, signing in works slightly differently.
You will still enter your email address and password as usual. SalonBridge will then send a one-time PIN to your registered mobile number.
Enter this PIN on the login screen to complete the sign-in process.
Important
Because your registered mobile number is used to receive your verification codes, it is important to keep this number up to date.
Two-factor authentication provides additional protection for your SalonBridge account and is strongly recommended for all users.
