Google Tag Manager (GTM) allows you to add and manage analytics and marketing tracking on your SalonBridge online booking pages without needing to modify the page code directly.
By connecting Google Tag Manager to SalonBridge, your GTM container can load when clients visit your online booking pages. You can then use Google Tag Manager to configure tracking for services such as Google Analytics, Google Ads, Meta Pixel, and other supported marketing and analytics platforms.
This can help you better understand how clients interact with your online booking page and measure the effectiveness of your marketing campaigns.
Before you begin
You will need a Google Tag Manager account and a Google Tag Manager ID.
Your Google Tag Manager ID will usually look similar to:
GTM-XXXXXXX
You can find this ID within your Google Tag Manager account.
Enable Google Tag Manager in SalonBridge
Log in to your SalonBridge Dashboard.
Click My Business.
Select Integrations.
Scroll down to the Analytics & Conversion Tracking section.
Find Google Tag Manager and click Enable.
Enter your Google Tag Manager ID.
Save your changes.
Google Tag Manager will now be loaded on your SalonBridge online booking pages.
What happens next?
Enabling the integration connects your Google Tag Manager container to your SalonBridge online booking page.
The actual analytics and marketing tags you would like to use still need to be configured within Google Tag Manager. For example, you may choose to configure Google Analytics 4, Google Ads conversion tracking, or other marketing tools.
Remember that changes made inside Google Tag Manager generally need to be published before they become active.
We recommend using Google Tag Manager's preview and testing tools to confirm that your tags are working correctly before relying on the data for reporting or advertising.
