When a customer does not arrive for their appointment, you can either cancel the appointment, or change the status of the appointment as a 'No Show'.

Changing the status to 'No Show' allows you to keep track of the number of no-shows a customer has, and also allows you to more accurately report on actual cancellations.

There are 2 ways to change an appointment status to 'No Show':

From the appointment calendar:

Right click on the appointment, move your mouse to the 'Set Status' menu option, and choose 'No Show':

When you set the status to 'No Show', you are prompted whether you want to remove the appointment from the client's account, or keep it. Keeping it on the account will allow you to charge the customer a 'no-show' fee, or the full amount for the appointment. If you do not charge for no-shows, you can click on 'Yes, remove it'.

From the appointment screen:

Click on the appointment. This will open the appointment management screen:

To the right of the screen, you can change the status to 'No Show':

When you do this, you are prompted whether you want to remove the appointment from the client's account, or keep it. Keeping it on the account will allow you to charge the customer a 'no-show' fee, or the full amount for the appointment. If you do not charge for no-shows, you can click on 'Yes, remove it'.
