With #BlackFriday around the corner, we see a significant growth in the number of specials and discounted gift cards being offered to customers.

As a result, we have released a feature that should make the management of these more efficient.

When enabled, SalonBridge will automatically apply a discount to the gift cards that are created, both in-house, or purchased online. To enable this, click on 'Gift Cards':

On the right hand side of the screen, you will have the ability to enable, or disable automatic gift card discounts and specify a default discount percentage. Enable this, and choose the percentage you want to discount. 

Once you are done, click on 'Save':

Once saved, any gift card that gets created in-house, or purchased online will be automatically discounted. The value of the gift card will remain unchanged, but the customer will only owe the discounted amount. The ability to enable or disable this is reserved for administrators and branch managers.
