How to assign a default room or resource to a service

Learn how to assign a default room or resource to a service.

Rooms and resources allow you to specify their usage when making a booking. While you can choose which room or resource is used when making a booking, assigning a default to the service ensures that the room or resource is automatically assigned when the service is selected. This also ensures that when an online booking is made for a service that has a default room or resource, neither will be double booked.

From the dashboard, click on 'My Business' and then on 'Services':

Click on the service you want to change:

Click on '+ Show Extra Fields' and choose the default room and resource that should be booked when this service is booked. Once done, click on 'Save':

Note: Once done when booking in-house, SalonBridge will automatically select the room or resource that is assigned to the service. However, you can still change these at the time of the booking if required.
