Why is my staff not appearing as an option when making an online booking?

There are several reasons why a staff member does not appear when clients make an online booking. Here are the most common causes:

1) The staff member does not have any services allocated to their profile:

Online bookings enforce that when a customer chooses a particular service, only the staff members allocated to perform that service are displayed as options. This helps to ensure that a client does not book a service with a staff member who cannot perform it.

To allocate services to a staff member, click on 'My Business->Staff':


Click on the staff member in question:


By 'Allocated Services', ensure that all services the staff member can perform are selected. Once done, click on 'Save'.

2) The online booking hours are not configured correctly:

If the staff member does not have accurate online booking hours (the hours they are available to be booked online), it could result in clients booking the staff member when they are not working, or it could result it showing no availability for the client when trying to book.

To set the online booking hours for a staff member, click on 'My Business->Staff':


Click on the staff member in question:


Click on 'Online Booking Hours' and make sure that the working hours are correct for the staff member:

3) The staff member's access has been blocked or changed:

If you have blocked a staff member or the staff member has an access type of 'Receptionist', they will not appear online for clients to book them.

Ensure that the access for the staff member is correct and is either Administrator, Branch Manager, or Individual.
