You can change the status of an appointment so that those who are viewing the calendar have a clear idea of the appointment status. For example, if the client has arrived, late, or is a no-show.

You can change the status of an appointment from the Calendar or the appointment view screen.

Option 1 (From the Calendar):

Right-click on the appointment you want to change the status for. Move your cursor to the 'Set Status' option and choose the status you want to set the appointment to:

Setting certain statuses will automatically update all appointments for that specific client for that day. These statuses are 'Arrived', 'Late' and 'Invoiced':

Option 2 (From the Appointment screen):

When clicking on an appointment, you are taken to the appointment screen where you can modify the status:

Currently, you can change an appointment status to any of the following:

  • Confirmed

  • Arrived

  • Late

  • Invoiced

  • Paid

  • No-Show

  • Package

  • Redo

  • Cancelled

Important:
The 'Cancelled' status will cancel the appointment. The 'No Show' status will ask you if you would like to remove the appointment from the client account or keep it there. When kept on the account, the client will still owe for the service.

Note: The ability to change the status of appointments is set for each user under 'Calendar' custom permissions. Should you not be able to perform this action, your administrator may be able to assist with enabling your access to view this report at their discretion by amending your permissions in the staff section.
